Cheryl Farmer Gathering

Last evening, we had the opportunity to attend a gathering for outgoing Mayor, Cheryl Farmer, held at the Firehouse Museum, in Ypsilanti, MI. WOW!!!
What a nice event. The Firehouse Museum is first class in every respect, Mr. Howard Weaver has done a magnificent job with the facility. The Christmas decorations are being put up, and frankly look spectacular! The layout of the facility is perfect for the type of gathering that was done for Cheryl, plenty of room to walk around and socialize. The food was wonderful, and the Sidetrack took care of the liquid libations. There were a number of presentations and testimonials, as well as many fine guests and dignitaries in attendance. As citizens of the City of Ypsilanti, we are truly fortunate to have been served by a fine leader in Cheryl Farmer. Her tireless dedication to the city and its residents has been remarkable. They don't make many like Cheryl Farmer!!
Thanks Cheryl.

Here we are!!

Well, here we are. the first posting on a brand new blog. I decided to start this blog to help, inform, and communicate with my friends, neighbors, and friends I haven't met yet in the beautiful city of Ypsilanti, Michigan. I hope this becomes a fun and informative forum, where readers can share their experiences and opinions, regardless of which side of the fence you happen to be on politically, or otherwise. I most of all hope this blog can be of help to people trying to find information, of all kinds, from finding someone to clean out your plugged up drain, to determining your correct voting location.
